Glastonbury tickets: where things stand

There is no Glastonbury Festival in 2026, because it is a fallow year. The next festival runs from Wednesday 23 June to Sunday 27 June 2027 on Worthy Farm. The festival organiser reports the 2027 tickets as sold out.

The organiser has announced one more chance: an official resale of returned tickets in spring 2027. No exact day or time has been published. Follow the festival's own website for the announcement.

This site is an independent guide. We do not sell tickets, and we do not link to ticket sellers.

How the booking works

The rules for 2027, step by step.

1. Register first

Everyone who wants a ticket must register, from age 13. Registration is free. You give your contact details and a photo, similar to a passport photo. Tickets carry that photo and cannot be passed on.

2. Book with the deposit

You can book up to 6 tickets in one transaction. Each person pays a £100 deposit at booking. Everyone in the booking must be registered.

3. Pay the balance

The remaining £308 per person, plus postage, is due in a payment window that opens at 09:00 BST on 1 April 2027 and closes at 23:59 BST on 7 April 2027.

4. Collect your ticket

The ticket is posted to you. The postage charge is £11.25 per order.

Past sale dates are over

The main sales for 2027 took place in autumn 2026. The coach sale ran on 1 October 2026 at 18:00 BST, and the general admission sale on 4 October 2026 at 09:00 BST. The registration deadline before the October sale was 25 September at 17:00 BST.

These dates are in the past. Do not treat them as a booking offer. Watch for the resale announcement instead.

Children, coaches and campervans

The rules that change who can buy what.

Children

Children up to age 12 enter without a ticket or registration. Anyone under 16 needs to be with a responsible adult aged 18 or over.

Coaches

The coach seat is paid separately. If you have a coach, you must use the assigned journey. You cannot convert it into a general admission ticket.

Coach and campervan

Coach ticket buyers cannot buy a campervan ticket. For vans, read the festival camping page.

Camping nights

The ticket includes 5 nights of camping. A hotel booking does not replace a festival ticket.

Beware of unofficial tickets

Private resale is forbidden under the festival's rules.

Official channel only

Tickets are sold only through the festival's official ticket channel. Tickets carry a photo and are not transferable, and private resale is forbidden. A ticket from a social media post, a messaging group or an unknown website is not a safe purchase.

What to do instead

Register, wait for the official resale announcement and use only the festival's own channel. If someone offers you a ticket for a price that sounds too good, walk away.
